From combat boots to consciousness — she is a West Point graduate, Army veteran, entrepreneur, spiritual educator, and community builder whose life journey bridges leadership, service, and ancestral wisdom.
After earning a degree in Aerospace Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Myra served as an Air Defense Artillery Officer before transitioning into entrepreneurship and financial planning. Today, she is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, business owner, and founder of multiple ventures dedicated to education, empowerment, and community development.
Known within spiritual communities as Mamba MiRah, Myra has spent more than twenty years exploring magical and ancestral traditions. As a mixed-race woman of Irish and African descent, she sought a deeper understanding of the spiritual systems carried by both sides of her lineage. What began as a search for identity evolved into a lifelong study of ancestral traditions, folk practices, rootwork, goddess spirituality, and the ways cultural wisdom survives across generations.
In 2015, she founded Hearth Wisdom Store, an award-winning metaphysical shop and educational center in Arlington, Texas. Through classes, workshops, mentorship, and community events, she has helped thousands of people explore spirituality, personal growth, and ancestral connection in ways that are meaningful, practical, and empowering.
Myra's work is rooted in a simple belief: that many of the answers we seek for navigating uncertainty, healing, and belonging can be found by reconnecting with the wisdom of those who came before us. Through her teaching, she encourages others to explore their heritage with curiosity, courage, and respect while discovering how ancestral traditions can provide healing and remain relevant in modern life.
She is a proud wife of twenty-six years, mother of two, advocate for inclusion and social justice, and passionate believer in the transformative power of community, culture, and remembering who we are.
